I have been a runner off and on since I was a kid. Its something I have always loved and hope to be running until I'm just too old to do it anymore. I enjoy running some 5ks and halfs each year and try to be consistent with my training. But I often find it challenging with three kids to get all the miles in that I want to.
I love my kids so much, but running really is my sanity and I enjoy my "me" time. I may just be forever a "middle of the pack" runner but have hopes of getting faster.
I was dreading the cold, but it actually wasn't too bad. Had a nice run today, got 5 miles under 50 minutes, which was a big breakthrough for me. Thats the best time I have had since my foot surgery in Jan.
A well done event for a great cause. It was freezing, but worth it. The course they chose was fun and interesting. All the strollers and kids on bikes were a little tricky to navigate through.
